This is a key event in the art calender and maybe the most exciting exhibition since the opening of the Tate Modern, this collection of art represents a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see so many of Matisse's works in one place and discover his final artistic triumph. The timing is apt, marking the 60th year since the death of the French Master. London is the first host on the exhibition tour. It will later travel to New York at the Museum of Modern Art and then the works will return to galleries and private owners around the world. The exhibition runs from the 17th April to the 17th September. You absolutely must make the trip.
