This February saw the opening of the Malt House, Claude Bosi's second gastro pub, designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors. The 80 seater gastro pub was refurbished over a 3 month period which included 7 bedrooms.
An early C19th property, AWI wanted to keep the essence of an old school boozer but with more modern elements. Racing green leather on the banquettes sit opposite black contemporary chairs. based on a take on a traditional pub style. A splash of red chairs and some traditional William Morris wallpaper add a sense of fun/quirkiness to the space.
With Marcus McGuinness in the kitchen, the food has already had amazing reviews and looks set to continue the great success of its sister, Fox and Grapes.
