INTERIORS INSPIRATION: UXUA CASA HOTEL PART III

Casa Gulab at the Uxua Hotel which, having only seen images, is our favourite there. The space is incredibly simple and is achieved by using natural materials throughout. Timber floor, sea grass rugs, white linens and dressing the space with coloured foliage. Beautiful.

INTERIORS INSPIRATION: UXUA CASA HOTEL PART I

Uxua is a boutique hotel in the incredibly beautiful fishing village of Trancoso, Brazil. We came across the hotel a few years back and have been in love since. There are various casas  are old traditional fisherman homes which sit within a 16th century town green or amongst vegetation. The interiors mix raw materials with Brazilian antiques and art which creates a luxurious yet unpretentious aesthetic.

There are so many stunning images from the hotel that we've decided to break it down over the next few posts. This post shows the lounger which includes a bar, super relaxed seating throughout and space for dining.

ART: MIRO AT THE YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK

This month sees the first major UK exhibition of sculpture by Miro showing in Yorkshire. Seeing large sculptures in the open air is always moving, put when they're by Miro and in such a beautiful location, it becomes even greater. Perhaps not on everyone's doorstep, if you wanting a day trip over the next 7 months, we would suggest one to here!
