We've been visiting the various markets, hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes to draw inspiration for our project. There's a huge diversity, one can be walking through a gritty market and suddenly stumble across a restaurant full of Hong Kong's finest. Big shout out to Kris and Holly for all their help!
There's definitely a touch of New York within the interior, mix that with extremely good cocktails and the chance to try chicken bottom and you have yourself a trendy space within Soho. Be warned, unlike most of Hong Kong, it has taken the NY style of non booking.

Second day in Hong Kong, thought we'd share a couple of pictures. More pics and bits to come.
We're off to Hong Kong tomorrow for a site visit of a new space we're designing, more to follow on that in the future. Posting may be limited till we return but we're hoping to add a few things whilst out there. Ciao ciao
The bar restaurant sits in an incredibly envious place, the rather tranquil beach of Ftelia in the picture perfect island of Mykonos, Greece. The simple space was built in the island's typical style mixed with very modern elements. Items such as the raw materials including the reed thatched roof, adding much needed natural ventilation, counterbalanced with the concrete/whitewashed walls makes this the perfect space to come off the beach and totally indulge in the local food.
