INTERIORS: PRIVATE MEMBERS DINING ROOM BY ALEXANDER WATERWORTH INTERIORS

VISUAL BY ALEXANDER WATERWORTH INTERIORS

EXISTING FLOOR PLAN
PROPOSED PLAN

We were approached in the Autumn to put together a design for a private dining room for one of London's most exclusive members clubs. The room was updated in the early 90's, becoming slightly outdated and currently doesn't function particularly well for an entertaining space. Being a private events space, the introduction of a bar was essential and so we proposed to remove an existing wall and place the bar within the area which is currently back of house. By removing the wall, we obviously also get a larger space and in this case, a much more structured space. Other structural work would include the reconfiguration the entry and introducing a smoking terrace.
The property is a Georgian build and because of this, we've added traditional paneling and detailing to the design of space. As the club has a more contemporary feel, we've introduced modern lighting and furniture with injections of colours coming through the furniture and the modern artwork, which would be supplied by some of the clubs members who luckily happen to be some of Britain's biggest designers.
