ALEXANDER WATERWORTH INTERIORS love all things African and we too have a modest collection of pieces from different parts of the African continent, though these works aren’t the typical tribal pieces we are more accustomed to seeing. The exhibition houses works loaned from mainly Europe and each being of some historical significance. Top artists of their areas were chosen to replicate the leaders and today at the Metropolitan, we can see the greatest collection of these kind of pieces assembled.
The Metropolitan Museum: September 21, 2011–January 29, 2012
