'CUPID WITH HIS WINGS ON FIRE', LOUVRE

'THE VEILED, PARILS' AND THE STATUE THAT INSPIRED IT

'SWAN LIKE EMBRACE' WITH 'PAOLO AND FRANCESCA' BY ART SCHEFFER

This week sees the opening of Nan Goldin’s  eighth exhibition with Matthew Mark Gallery NY, dating back to 1992, entitled ‘Scopohilia,’ ‘Love of looking.’ Alongside her work over the last few decades will sit a 25 minute slide show which was commissioned last year by the Louvre. Goldin was allowed unlimited access for 8 months to photo inside the immense space of the museum and has paired these images with her own images, dating back 40 years.

“It was one of the most sensuous experiences of my life, and I’ve had a lot of sensual experiences in my life.” NAN GOLDIN (NY TIMES)
